Each New Year, I like to reflect upon the past year and project on the new. (To be clear, I project on the future, not 'project' as in a common defense mechanism). I've taken stock of what's essential to our community and The Pack and believe in our mission to support people and systems through change! YOU are what is most important! Did you know that 2023 NASW Illinois' Social Worker of the Year, Chelsea Laliberte Barnes, is the Chief Operating Officer at Wolf Pack? We're not messing around here in the Wolf Den, and I am most excited that Chelsea has joined the Pack. Standing at the threshold of the exciting year ahead, we renew our commitment to providing high-quality, empathy-driven services. In 2024, The Pack aims to push boundaries, embrace change, embark on new adventures, and maybe even laugh along the way by: Expanding our clinical team THREE-fold to provide trauma-informed support and emotional and body literacy for all who need it. We’re happy to consider your referrals! Launching Group Soup, our enhanced supervision program for pre-licensed clinicians, which launches its first cohort on 1/22 {only two slots left, so apply TODAY}! Leading a team of clinical experts in developing a fresh chapter in ASAM's new adolescent criteria. Assisting with burnout prevention services, ongoing education at Wolf Pack Institute, and harm reduction technical assistance for essential services organizations.

The law, which went into effect January 1, updates the Illinois School Code.
