Presented by

Join the Illinois Association for Behavioral Healthcare and Wolf Pack for a first-of-its-kind opportunity to understand the core changes of the new ASAM Criteria 4th Edition.

Hear from Dr. Maureen Boyle, ASAM’s Chief Scientific Officer, about the 4th edition changes and how they affect patients, providers, organizations, payors, and state agencies. This will be followed by a Q&A and an interactive panel featuring a unique group of subject matter experts and stakeholders. Keep scrolling to learn about our panelists!

1.5 CEUs will be available for Illinois Certification Board Members and licensed social workers, counselors, family therapists, and psychologists.

Webinar goals:

  1. Increase knowledge of ASAM Criteria changes around dimensions, decision rules, and the continuum of care.

  2. Understand how these changes benefit patient care and treatment outcomes (micro), operational, clinical, and ethical functions across various treatment programs (mezzo), and the broader healthcare system (macro).

  3. Explore the potential impacts on insurance/payors and state agencies (IDHS, IDOI, HHS, etc.).

  4. Understand how legislators can support the advancement of the criteria to enhance their literacy across the field and ensure rapid implementation with limited effects on treatment access, availability, and quality care.

Maureen Boyle, Ph.D., is the Chief Quality and Science Officer at the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), where she oversees the development of clinical guidelines and other tools to promote evidence-based addiction treatment. She is the managing editor for the 4th edition of The ASAM Criteria and provides strategic oversight for ASAM’s suite of tools for supporting implementation of The ASAM Criteria standards.

Dr. Boyle has over 20 years of experience in research, public health, and health policy, including leadership positions with the SAMHSA and NIDA.  She holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the Washington University School of Medicine, and she completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Allen Institute for Brain Science and a Science and Technology Policy Fellowship through the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).

Wolf Pack’s Equitable Pricing Model

Wolf Pack’s pricing structure reflects our understanding that folks have differing abilities to pay for services, and the inability to pay should not exclude anyone from participation.

Humbly built with equity, trust, and fairness, we offer a Pay-What-You-Can structure, allowing participants to choose what they can afford based on their income. We rely on the honor system to empower people to contribute based on their capacity. We don’t know how much money you have!

While we are excited to offer this model, we also want to communicate information about the time, labor, passion, energy, and years of experience our experts are contributing to developing and implementing these trainings. As such, we will always include an asking price and a value price (with processing fees added) in our registration platforms to maintain transparency with you. Please review them before registering.

If you are interested in a Group Discount Package for your practice or organization, please get in touch with chelsea@wolfpacktherapy.com.
