Seeking a therapist can be a cloudy process. You’ve gone through and may be going through some of the most difficult times of your life, and now, you’re trying to figure out through some websites who will be 1) safe 2) helpful and 3) nice to talk to. I’ll be frank: I think this model of connecting can be a real pain to find a therapist – that is why I offer a free consultation call. We can chat to see if we could be a good fit and get an honest impression of each other. Schedule one here, or just shoot me an email.

If you work with me, you can expect support and guidance in a non judgmental space to build on strengths, let go of what you can, and refresh ways of showing up in life.

What I offer is a caring approach to personal transformation. You can expect support in engaging your whole self: welcoming creative activities such as music, film, writing, dancing, drawing, and more. Alongside the creative, we dig into the details of your past, find patterns, and set concrete goals.

In terms of fees and costs, as a counselor in training I’m able to offer minimal cost counseling on a sliding scale – you pay what you can. Money should not be a barrier, therapy should be accessible. Additionally, Wolf Pack accepts most insurances.

People I most frequently work with:
Are working on their burnout, ADHD, people pleasing, perfectionism, identity formation, anxiety, depression, self esteem, romantic relationships, and grief.

A little bit about me:
I grew up in a blue collar town and despite being a cis-white-male: I’m LGBTQ+ affirming, and a striving antiracist. I believe men can cry, and actually have an immense, positive capacity to show up emotionally if they choose to, even if they’ve never been taught how to. I’ve spent years in various careers trying to find where to put my efforts to best serve society and the planet: counseling is the home I’ve found.

Education and Training:
I hold my bachelor’s of science in nutrition from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay. Additionally, I have served a five year apprenticeship as an electrician through the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 134. Broadly speaking, Mother Earth taught me life lessons when I was farmer. Currently, I am on the path to clinical licensure with Northeastern Illinois University through their Clinical Mental Health Counseling program.

Beyond the Practice:
I routinely enjoy cooking meals, the world of social dance, and every visit I can make to see my nephews. My favorite struggle remains a hunt for the next tree, wet nose, landscape, lyric, poem, utterance, or mantra that reshapes my everything.
