Hilary joins Wolf Pack after more than a decade as a Licensed Practical Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC), and Certified Reciprocal Drug and Alcohol Counselor (CRADC). She is also Board Certified Tele-Mental Health Provider (BC-TMH) and a member of NAADAC, the Association for Addiction Professionals, and the American Counseling Association. 

She received her Bachelor's in Psychology from Purdue University, Master's in Health Science - Addictions from Governors State University, and Master of Arts in Counseling from Adler University. Before receiving her degrees and certifications, Hilary worked as a mental health counselor for people with eating disorders and varying mental health challenges. From there, she transitioned to working with people managing substance use disorders. 

Hilary serves full-time as the Executive Director of an outpatient methadone clinic, providing crucial, compassionate harm reduction strategies for the clients, families, and the broader community. Hilary also has extensive experience working with families involved with the juvenile court. 

Hilary advocates for the “underdog” and believes that everyone has the potential to overcome obstacles. With a little help and perseverance, everyone can succeed in reaching their goals. Hilary is living proof of that belief. She was a high school dropout and a single teenage parent. Hilary overcame her obstacles and completed her education as a motivational tool and role model for her children. 

Hilary is an avid reader, loves to be outside on nice days, and is an enthusiastic people watcher. She is a mother of two adult children and the grandmother of three teenagers. She lives with her husband and their three beloved dogs in Lake County.
