You are holding onto so much. At times, it feels difficult to assert your own wants and needs. You may feel alone even when surrounded by people who love and care about you. Maybe you carry your feelings in silence because you worry about burdening others or being misunderstood.
In session, my intention is to create a warm and supportive space where you can process what you’ve been holding onto without judgment. Together, we’ll gently unearth the experiences, patterns, and relationships that have informed how you move through the world, while making room to reconnect with who you are, how you want to feel, and how you want to live.
I approach therapy from a psychodynamic and existential lens. This means our work may include exploring the past as a way to better understand and cultivate acceptance for what is present. I also believe in a collaborative approach to care and will always meet you with curiosity, because YOU are the expert in your own life.
Whether you’re navigating life transitions, trauma, concerns with self-esteem or self-worth, or challenging family, relationship, and peer dynamics, you do not have to navigate it alone. Together, let’s work toward reclaiming your authenticity and bringing compassion and care to the parts of your story that deserve it most.
In the spirit of authenticity, I find joy and regulation through yoga, going to the movies, sending exceptionally lengthy voice messages to long-distance friends, expanding my niche pop culture knowledge, and giving lots of gentle (?) squeezes to my dog, Molly Junior.
